Heavy Tools in the Westend Mall
Our latest interior design project involved the complete design of a Heavy Tools store in one of Budapest's busiest shopping centres. The design of the 160 square metre store was preceded by a thorough research: we paid special attention to the mapping of customer habits and space preferences.
The design concept focused on the practical use of space and the visually appealing, logical arrangement of products. Our aim was to make it easy for visitors to navigate the space, while presenting the brand image in a strong and consistent way. Lighting played a key role in shaping the spatial experience: a row of lights running along the ceiling in a ‘V’ shape not only suggests dynamism and movement, but also visually directs the eye towards the reception or checkout point. This deliberate solution helps to gently guide the movement of shoppers within the space. The sporty, urban feel of Heavy Tools and the closeness to nature are both reflected in the design. A prominent element of this is the embedding of the logo in a moss decoration, which refers to both an active lifestyle and a sustainable approach.
The end result is an eye-catching and inspiring space that not only visually communicates the store's identity, but also serves the needs of customers and staff alike.
